Shannon Sharpe Cuts Mic On ‘Nightcap’ Tour Amid Lawsuit


The tour was supposed to start June 13 in Baltimore.


Shannon Sharpe won’t be coming to a metropolis close to you. Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson have introduced the postponement of their “Nightcap” Podcast tour to 2026 amid Sharpe’s lawsuit.

The podcasting host made the announcement on a Might 23 episode of “Nightcap,” his nightly sports activities discuss present with Johnson. Sharpe shared that the duo won’t hit the highway for the “NSFW” tour throughout America. Baller Alert reposted the information to social media.

“We’ve determined to postpone the Nightcap tour,” confirmed the NFL Corridor of Famer.

Based on The Grio, the “Nightcap” host initially broke the information of the tour in March. It was set to start June 13 in Baltimore, with plans to cease by seven different cities similar to Philadelphia, Detroit, and Los Angeles.

Whereas “Nightcap” followers might be amiss this summer time, Sharpe let viewers know that they intend to reboot the tour in 2026.

“We stay up for seeing you guys in the summertime of 2026. It’s going to be even larger, even higher,” added Sharpe. “However Ocho and I’ve come to the conclusion that that is the very best factor as of proper now…to postpone the tour. We stay up for seeing every one in all you in 2026.”

Whereas Sharpe didn’t explicitly state why the postponement occurred, many may assume the rationale stems from the continued lawsuit towards him. A “Jane Doe” out of Nevada filed the lawsuit towards the 56-year-old April 20. She has claimed sexual assault and battery, amongst different accusations.

The unidentified lady says their relationship started after assembly the “Membership Shay Shay” host when she was 19-year-old. They went on to have a  “consensual rocky relationship” that she alleges become harassment after she tried breaking ties.

The information has since stunted Sharpe’s personal internet hosting gigs. He has taken a backseat as on-air expertise for ESPN’s “First Take” in mild of the matter. Nonetheless, he has maintained his innocence and intends to combat the case. Regardless of this, his podcasts have continued to air new episodes.
