The morning occasion — held on the Fairmont Century Plaza Lodge — was devoted to impression, legacy and celebration, shaping the way forward for tradition throughout generations.
Based by Joi Brown in 2016, her purpose was to create a platform that acknowledges and honors people who’ve made important contributions to shaping Black tradition throughout leisure, media, and numerous fields past. Kandi Burruss obtained the TRAILBLAZER Award for her legacy as a hitmaker, enterprise mogul, and TV powerhouse — a real embodiment of artistic longevity and reinvention. Pleasure-Ann Reid took dwelling the MEDIA Award for her fearless journalism and sharp political perception.
Tina Davis obtained the MUSIC Award for her legendary profession in music administration. Kimberly A.
