What Works Properly: This hybrid techno crime thriller romance consists of doses of realizing humour, and is packaged inside a particular cyberpunk-meets-skatepark milieu, the surreal outfits and set designs evoking surplus Blade Runner stock. The Rafael Moreu script gives Dade with a decent-enough backstory.

What Does Not Work As Properly: Hacking is diminished to cartoon-level pop-up screens and summary online game imagery, whereas past the rad look of high-schoolers competing to out-cool one another, the plot is each incomprehensible and preposterous. The performances are simply the one notch above highschool year-end play materials.

Key Quote:

Dade: Mess with the perfect, die like the remainder.
