Synopsis: Unimaginable Missions Drive Agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is tasked with finding rogue ex-agent Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott), who has stolen a priceless pharmaceutical product. Ethan groups up with skilled thief and Sean’s ex-girlfriend Nyah (Thandie Newton). They fall in love earlier than finding Sean in Sydney, the place he’s arranging to revenue from villainy.
What Does Not Work As Nicely: When it is not convoluted, the plot is inane. Each the antagonists and the love curiosity are of the immediately forgettable plastic selection, not helped by an underpowered supporting solid. The self-deprecating wit and cautious however defective planning hallmarks of the collection are notably absent in favour of unnecessarily severe James Bond derivations, and the face masks trick achieves tiresome irrelevance by overuse.
