They messed with the flawed one this time. Black people from throughout town pulled as much as present their help for 21-year-old Jada McPherson, who was violently attacked over a parking spot in Ridgewood, Queens, New York.
And judging by the neighborhood’s response, this violent assault rapidly become a robust image of unity and resistance.
It began when McPherson was violently focused — and referred to as “a monkey” — after making an attempt to park in a spot that Andreea Dimitru, 45, and her daughter, Sabrina Starman, 21, have been allegedly attempting to avoid wasting for themselves. What adopted was a brutal three-on-one assault in broad daylight, the place McPherson was overwhelmed, dragged, and pummeled — all of which sparked outrage and protests all through the neighborhood. And one thing tells me they didn’t see this coming…
From Black males displaying their power in numbers outdoors the aggressor’s dwelling to filling the block with neighborhood supporters, people are refusing to let McPherson endure this messy scenario alone. The message is evident: The racist, nasty, and unfair assaults received’t be tolerated.
One trending video reveals the streets full from finish to finish with supporters outdoors what seems to be McPherson’s dwelling. “Standing for [the] queen that received jumped in Brooklyn by 3 Hispanic individuals,” the video captioned.
That mentioned, not everybody was as good about their response…
“We’re speaking on to you cowards who jumped one 21-year-old lady!” a Black man boldly mentioned right into a bullhorn outdoors what seems to be the aggressor’s dwelling in a trending TikTok video. “We’re right here to let you understand that in the event you name a Black particular person a monkey…we’ll deliver your complete zoo to your entrance door!”
He continued: “I don’t care the place you’re from. You’ll not assault a Black lady…our Black individuals will present up. This ain’t 1950’s. This ain’t Jim Crow. That is 2025. And you’ll not assault Black individuals, and get away with it!”
