NYU Pupil Seeks Justice After Being Urinated On By Roommate


Eloni Belcher claims NYU failed to guard her after roommate relieved herself on Belcher’s bedding and physique.


A New York College pupil has accused the varsity of failing to correctly handle a disturbing incident by which she alleges her roommate urinated on her whereas she was asleep.

 Eloni Belcher, a sophomore at NYU’s Tisch Faculty of the Arts, publicly criticizes the college’s dealing with of the state of affairs and shares her story on social media.

She contacted the Division of Campus Security at NYU. She met with two officers, who, in line with Belcher, filed a report however suggested her that it was pointless to attend for the New York Metropolis Police Division, reportedly stating, “it wasn’t value ready for the police.” Belcher later filed her police report, and the incident was categorized as harassment.

In a press release to Washington Sq. Information, NYU spokesperson John Beckman later said that the college had taken the matter critically from the outset. 

“Given the issues raised, we need to emphasize that the college has taken this matter critically because it got here to our consideration,” Beckman stated. “Security is our prime precedence — at all times.” 

Regardless of the college’s assurances, Belcher claims she has continued to face harassment, together with messages from her roommate’s family and friends who accuse her of fabricating the incident and threatening authorized motion.
