Synopsis: After receiving a piece bonus, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) takes his household on a trip to Las Vegas. What Does Not Work As Nicely: Randy Quaid’s boorish cousin Eddie retains getting in the best way, plumbing new depths of atrocious behaviour. Clark Griswold’s model of comedian ineptitude is low on vitality, and the solid responds by simply going by means of the motions. Wayne Newton and Wallace Shawn (as a caustic blackjack supplier) are over-applied to little impact. A lot of the jokes miss their targets, together with a drained detour to the Hoover Dam.
