Starbucks is ready to put off 1,100 company staff globally as a part of a restructuring effort by new Chairman and CEO Brian Niccol.

He added, “Our intent is to function extra effectively, improve accountability, scale back complexity and drive higher integration. All with the purpose of being extra centered and capable of drive higher influence on our priorities.”
