Actually, this one utterly baffled me. I have been asking the NYT puzzle setters to make Strands more durable for ages, so I am not complaining once I get a troublesome one – however I merely didn’t make the connection between these phrases in any respect till after I would uncovered the spangram, which was on the very finish of my recreation.
