Synopsis: Instantly after her son heads off to school, rich New Yorker Kate Conrad (Kristin Davis) is shocked when her businessman husband proclaims the tip of their marriage and in addition departs. She units off alone to a Zambia safari trip, the place she meets hunky and eligible small airplane pilot Derek Hollistan (Rob Lowe), who additionally works at an elephant sanctuary. What Works Nicely: A number of the African surroundings is nice, and the elephants are lovely.
What Does Not Work As Nicely: A nauseating Hallmark-level film set in Africa, wedging-in a Christmas theme as a result of that is what Hallmark-type motion pictures do. The human actors are embarrassed by the proficient elephants, the writing is atrocious, all of the dramatic moments are contrived, key secondary characters are barely outlined past “dangerous husband” and “lusty vamp” after which simply disappear, and the on-the-rails plot by no means deviates from utter predictability.
