Buffalo Troopers Museum Hosts Juneteenth @160 Celebration

Houston, TX — The Buffalo Troopers Nationwide Museum will commemorate the one hundred and sixtieth anniversary of Juneteenth with a strong three-day celebration titled Juneteenth @160: U.S. Coloured Troops’ Name to Freedom | Our Journey to Progress, set for June 19–21, 2025. The occasion honors the historic contributions of the US Coloured Troops (USCT) and the legacy they helped forge by army service and cultural resilience.

Juneteenth @160 presents a sturdy collection of free public occasions, together with artwork exhibitions, historic reenactments, interactive storytelling, youth actions, and a West African-inspired culinary expertise. The theme, grounded in liberation, legacy, and dwelling historical past, calls consideration to the continued journey of Black Individuals from enslavement to empowerment.

Honoring the U.S. Coloured Troops and Buffalo Troopers
